Lucy Ludwell Grymes is a name that was used more than once. That fourth-generation Lucy Ludwell Grymes, as described on this page, married Carter Burwell.

In the third generation, Lucy Ludwell married Col. John Grymes of Brandon, in Middlesex County. One of their daughters was also named Lucy Ludwell Grymes. That other fourth generation Lucy Ludwell Grymes was the daughter of Charles Grymes and Frances Jennings. She was 14 years younger, and married Henry Lee II in 1753.
